Start a color palette with a feeling
  1. Describe a mood, scene, or style, or choose a mood below. Try a restful spa, a bright sunrise, muted blue, or a monochrome palette.
  2. Combine named colors such as seafoam and navy, or exclude colors with phrases such as without blue or green, blue-free, or red instead of blue. Light, dark, muted, vivid, and monochrome styling carries into each direction and its variations.
  3. Choose Find palettes to combine the recognized themes. Compare Balanced, Airy, and Deep compositions, then try a variation or edit any shade.
  4. Use the softness control to lighten the palette. Color fields, copying, and downloads show those same colors. Editing a shade applies the current softness and resets the slider so your chosen HEX stays exact. Undo and Redo restore earlier palettes and settings.
  5. Name and save the palette to retain its brief, composition, colors, and softness. Matching uses a curated collection of moods, scenes, color names, and synonyms; unfamiliar descriptions may need more specific words.

Quiet coastal luxury combines muted ocean colors with a deep anchor and a gold accent. A winter cabin brief blends cool seasonal tones with warm wood colors. These are creative interpretations, and personal or cultural responses vary.
