Turn an image into an editable palette
- Choose or drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP image. Processing happens in your browser.
- Select a palette size and a dominant, vibrant, or muted direction. Choose Crop region and move its handles, or use Precise crop, to focus on part of the image.
- Select a swatch and click the image to sample a replacement, or edit its HEX code. Save, export, or continue in Palette Generator.
- Save or share the extraction to retain its palette, settings, and sample locations. Included color studies reopen automatically. For an uploaded photo, the palette reopens immediately; reattach the matching original to continue sampling. The file itself is not included in saved work or shared links.
To capture a flower’s colors without the surrounding sky, narrow the extraction region around the flower. A simple image may contain fewer distinct colors than the palette size you requested.
